Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- Crisco
- parsley flakes - 2 Tbsp
- Italian seasoning - 1 Tbsp
- Mrs - 1/2 Tbsp
- rice
- lemon pepper seasoning - 2 Tbsp
- chicken breasts, deboned - 5 item
- Smoky Hollow cocktail sausage - 8 oz
How to make chicken and rice casserole:
Simmer deboned chicken in melted Crisco until tender. Drain off excess grease and add all spices and sausage. Put in casserole dish with rice and water. Stir well. Cook in oven on 400° until rice is done and water is gone, approximately 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Casseroles.
