- chicken breasts or whole chicken, cooked and cut up - 4 item
- uncooked rice - 1 c
- butter 1 stick - 1/4 lb
- dry onion soup - 1 pkg
- boiling water - 4 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
How to make chicken and rice casserole:
Preheat oven to 350°. Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Cover bottom with rice. Arrange chicken over rice; dot with butter. Sprinkle onion mix over all. Pour boiling water into pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Casseroles.
