Chicken and rice casserole



Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- chicken broth - 2 c
- parsley - 1 Tbsp
- Minute rice - 2 c
- onions, chopped - 1/2 c
- black pepper - 1 tsp
- cloves garlic, chopped - 4 item
- celery, chopped - 1 c
- whole chicken - 3 lb
- can tomatoes - 16 oz
- green bell pepper - 1 c
How to make chicken and rice casserole:
Cook chicken until tender. Remove from bones. Set aside. Use two cups of chicken broth. Cook rice in broth. Combine all other ingredients in a saucepan; cook until tender.Combine chicken, rice and all other ingredients. Put in a large casserole dish. Cover well. Place in oven at 350°. Bake 35 minutes. Remove from oven. Cool 15 minutes before serving.
