Ingredients/Components

  • butter or margarine - 1/4 c
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
  • soup can milk - 1 item
  • can cream of celery soup - 1 item
  • rice
  • to 6 skinless, boneless chicken breasts - 4 item

How to make chicken and rice casserole:

Heat soups, milk and half of the butter in a pan. Add the rice and heat until the mixture is warm. Pour this mixture into a 13 x 9-inch pan. Lay the chicken on the top and then add the remaining butter on top of the chicken. Cook the casserole at 275° for 2 1/2 hours. Do not cover or open the oven until casserole is done.
