- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chicken broth or water - 3 c
- celery salt - 1 tsp
- fryer, cut up - 1 (2
- uncooked rice - 1 c
How to make chicken and rice bake:
Sprinkle chicken with paprika, salt and pepper. Brown rice and onion in butter. Spread rice mixture in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch buttered baking dish. Add broth and celery salt. Place chicken on top of rice and broth mixture. Cover dish tightly with foil. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Remove foil and bake 15 minutes longer.
