- flour
- cream - 2 Tbsp
- sage - 1/2 tsp
- onion salt - 1/2 tsp
- celery salt - 1/2 tsp
- chicken, covered with water - 1 item
- Debone
How to make chicken and dumplings:
Cook until done; let cool. Debone. Add enough salt to broth to suit your taste. Add 1 teaspoon yellow coloring.Dumplings:2 large eggs2 Tbsp. cream1 1/4 c. flour Beat eggs and cream; add flour. Roll out on board, working in more flour, getting in as much flour as you can and still roll out. Drop in boiling broth.
