Chicken and dumplings



  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • chicken, cooked and bones removed - 1 item
  • water enough to make a firm ball - 1 item

How to make chicken and dumplings:

Dumplings:3 c. flour1 tsp. salt water (enough to make a firm ball) Put chicken meat back in broth and boil hard.

Divide dumpling mixture in 2 parts. Roll out each ball of dough real thin. Cut in small pieces and drop in boiling broth. Add 1/4 stick butter and 1 small can milk. Immediately lower fire to simmer.
