Chicken and broccoli casserole
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 2 oz
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- cooked chicken - 4 c
- curry powder - 1/2 tsp
- bread crumbs - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- mayonnaise - 1 c
- slivered almonds optional - 1 item
- cans mushroom soup - 2 item
How to make chicken and broccoli casserole:
Cook broccoli, chop and drain. Combine soup, mayonnaise, curry, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Mix well. Layer one-half broccoli, one-half chicken and one-half soup mixture in a lightly greased 2 quart casserole. Repeat layers. Sprinkle with crumbs and almonds. May be refrigerated until ready to bake.
