Chicken and broccoli casserole
Ingredients/Components
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- mayonnaise - 1 c
- frozen broccoli - 2 pkg
- fresh lemon juice - 3 tsp
- cans cream of chicken soup - 2 item
- buttered cracker crumbs - 1 item
- to 6 chicken breasts - 4 item
- curry powder optional - 1 tsp
- or more grated sharp cheese - 1 c
How to make chicken and broccoli casserole:
Stew chicken in salted water until done. Bone; cut into small pieces. Cook broccoli and drain. Put layer of broccoli in buttered casserole, then layer of chicken. Mix soup, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt and pepper and pour over. Cover with grated cheese, then buttered crumbs.
