Ingredients/Components
- flour - 4 Tbsp
- margarine - 4 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chicken broth - 2 c
- can mushrooms, drained - 3 oz
- cooked peas, drained - 1 c
- chicken, cooked, boned and cubed - 2 c
- cooked potatoes, cut in quarters - 2 item
- cooked carrots, cut in thirds - 3 item
How to make chicken a la king:
Melt margarine and stir in flour. Add chicken broth and cook on low heat until thick. Add remaining ingredients and heat to boiling. Pour in casserole. Top with biscuits. Bake at 450° until biscuits are golden brown, about 12 minutes.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Poultry.
