Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- semi-sweet chocolate chips - 1 c
- margarine or butter - 1/4 c
- powdered sugar
- peanut butter - 1/2 c
- Chex cereals - 9 c
How to make chex muddy buddies:
Pour Chex in bowl. Set aside. In a 1-quart microwave bowl, combine Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter. Microwave on High for 1 or 1 1/2 minutes or until smooth, stirring after 1 minute. Stir in vanilla; pour chocolate mixture over cereal, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated. Pour into Ziploc bags with powdered sugar. Seal and shake well until coated. Spread on wax paper.Recipe categories: Chocolate, Lunch/snacks, Snacks.
