- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- water - 2 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts optional - 3/4 c
- butter, melted - 3/4 c
- Nestle Toll House baking cocoa - 3/4 c
How to make chewy cocoa brownies:
Stir together sugar, butter and water in bowl. Stir in eggs; stir in vanilla. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; stir into sugar mixture. Stir in nuts. Spread into greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Bake in preheated 350° oven for 18 to 20 minutes until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out slightly sticky.
