Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vanilla
- flour
- stick margarine - 1 item
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- corn meal
- sweet milk - 2/3 c
- eggs save whites for meringue - 3 item
How to make chess pie:
Blend sugar and margarine, then add other ingredients. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake slow, about 375°, for 15 minutes, then 350° until pie filling is firm in middle and slightly brown, about 30 to 40 minutes, then add meringue and brown.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
