Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- stick butter - 3/4 item
- cornmeal - 1 Tbsp
- pie shell, unbaked - 1 item
How to make chess pie:
Beat 3 whole eggs. Add 1 1/2 cups sugar and blend well. Add 1 tablespoon vinegar, 1 tablespoon cornmeal, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 3/4 stick melted butter. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake until done in a 350° oven.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
