Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 4 item
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- stick butter - 1 item
- lemon juice
- cornmeal - 2 Tbsp
- 9-inch unbaked pie shell - 1 item
How to make chess pie:
Cream sugar and butter together. Add eggs one at a time. Add milk, cornmeal, vinegar, lemon juice and salt. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 375° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325° and bake until set, about 45 minutes.In memory of Kathleen Sanders.
