  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • milk - 2 Tbsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour
  • chopped dates - 1 c
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • margarine - 3/4 c
  • jar maraschino cherries - 1 oz

How to make cherry winks:

Sift together the flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Blend the margarine, sugar, eggs, milk and vanilla. Add dry ingredients to the creamed mixture. Stir in the chopped pecans, dates and 1/3 cup chopped cherries. Grease a baking sheet and drop cooki
