  • brown sugar - 3/4 c
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • margarine - 3/4 c
  • powdered sugar - 1 c
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • Cool Whip - 1 (8
  • can cherry pie mix or other fruit pie mix - 1 item

How to make cherry torte:

Combine flour, brown sugar, nuts and margarine; press into 9 x 13-inch pan and bake 10 minute at 375°. Cool.

Combine powdered sugar and cream cheese; fold in Cool Whip. Spread on cookie crust. Top with cherry pie mix or other fruit pie mix.
