Cherry topped cheesecake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla extract - 3 tsp
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- can cherry pie filling - 1 item
- lemon juice - 3 Tbsp
- cream cheese, softened - 2 pkg
- Carnation milk
- Duncan Hines yellow cake mix - 1 pkg
How to make cherry topped cheesecake:
Combine cake mix with oil (reserve 1 cup cake mix for batter) and 1 egg. Pat in bottom and up sides of a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan or two 9-inch pans for crust.Mix cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice, reserved cake mix, 3 eggs, 1 1/2 cups milk and vanilla extract. Bake in a preheated 300° oven for 45 to 55 minutes. Baking times vary with different ovens. When completely cooled, top with cherry pie filling.
