Cherry pudding cake



Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- baking powder
- sifted flour
- melted shortening - 1 Tbsp
- seeded cherries - 2 c
- cherry juice or juice and water - 2 c
How to make cherry pudding cake:
Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Add milk and melted shortening. Stir until smooth. Spread in greased baking pan 12 x 8 x 2-inch. Spread cherries over batter then last mix 1/2 cup sugar, butter and cherry juice. Bring to boil and pour over cherries.
