Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- stick margarine - 1/3 item
- baking powder
- flour - 3/4 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- can cherries, drained and pitted save liquid - 1 to
- margarine - 1 item
How to make cherry pudding:
Cream the sugar and margarine together. Add the next 3 ingredients. Pour into a 9 x 9-inch greased baking dish. Mix drained cherries and sugar. Pour over batter in dish. Dot with margarine and pour boiling cherry juice (add enough water to make 1 cup). Bake 45 minutes at 400°. Delicious with vanilla ice cream.Recipe categories: Desserts, Fruit, Southern u.s..
