- sugar - 1/2 1
- can cherries - 40 lb
- clear jell - 5 c
How to make cherry pie filling:
This is for a 40 pound can of frozen cherries with sugar. Add approximately 4 quarts of water, less can be used. Bring this to a boil. Mix clear jell with sugar and enough water to make a paste. Add to cherries. Let boil 1 minute. Process in hot water bath for 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
