Ingredients/Components
- water - 1 Tbsp
- stick butter - 1 item
- 5 oz - 2 lb
- can crushed pineapple undrained - 1 oz
- white or yellow cake mix - 1 pkg
How to make cherry dump cake:
In an ungreased 13 x 9-inch baking pan, dump both cans of pie filling and spread evenly. Dump pineapple on top and spread evenly. Dump cake mix and spread evenly over top. Cut up butter and spread evenly over top. Pour 1 tablespoon of water over top. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Makes a crisp cherry cobbler type dessert.Note: May also use apples or any other fruit.
