Cherry divinity

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 3 c
• chopped nuts - 1 c
• water - 3/4 c
• egg whites - 2 item
• white Karo syrup - 3/4 c
• cherry Jell-O
• jar maraschino cherries, chopped and drained - 1 item

How to make cherry divinity:

Bring sugar, syrup and water to the hard boil stage. Beat egg whites; add cherry Jell-O, one spoon at a time and beat until soft peaks form. When syrup is done, pour over egg whites and blend. Add nuts and cherries. Drop on wax paper.
