Ingredients/Components
- egg yolks - 2 item
- cup sugar - 1/2 item
- 1/2 cups flour - 2 item
- cup margarine or butter - 1 item
- cup light Karo syrup - 1/2 item
- cups finely chopped nuts - candied cherries - 2 item
How to make cherry delights:
Cream butter and sugar. Blend in Karo and egg yolks. Add flour and mix well. Chill dough. Roll into 1 inch balls. Dip into slightly beaten egg whites. Roll in finely chopped nuts. Place on greased cookie sheet. Press candied cherry halves into centers. Bake at 325° for 20 minutes. Makes about 4 dozen.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Hand Formed cookies.
