Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs, separated - 2 item
- sifted flour
- margarine - 1 c
- finely chopped nuts - 2 c
- Karo light corn syrup white - 1/2 c
- red and green candied cherry halves - 1 item
How to make cherry delight cookies:
Mix margarine and sugar. Stir in Karo corn syrup, egg yolks and flour; chill about 1/2 hour. Roll into 1-inch balls, dip into slightly beaten egg whites then nuts. Place on greased baking sheet. Press cherry into center of each cookie. Bake in 325° oven 20 minutes. Makes 4 dozen. Do not overbake.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, < 30 mins.
