Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1/3 c
- graham cracker crust - 1 item
- cherry juice
- can condensed milk - 1 oz
- cherries - 1 c
- red food coloring if desired - 1 item
How to make cherry cream cheese pie:
Glaze:1/2 c. cherry juice2 Tbsp. sugar2 Tbsp. cornstarch red food coloring (if desired)1 c. cherries Soften cream cheese to room temperature, then whip until fluffy. Gradually add condensed milk while continuing to beat. Beat until well blended. Add lemon juice and vanilla; blend well. Pour into crust. Chill 2 to 3 hours before topping with glaze.Glaze: Blend cherry juice, sugar and cornstarch. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened and clear. Stir in food coloring if desired. Add 1 cup drained pitted sour cherries. Cool. Put on top of pie.
