Ingredients/Components
- cherry jello - 2 pkg
- large can crushed pineapple do not drain - 1 item
- can cherry pie filling - 1 item
- cream cheese
- small carton sour cream - 1 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sugar - 1/2 c
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
How to make cherry congealed salad:
Topping:8 oz. cream cheese1 small carton sour cream1 tsp. vanilla1/2 c. sugar1/2 c. chopped nuts Add 2 cups boiling water to the jello; mix well. Add pineapple and pie filling. Pour into container; refrigerate until congealed.Topping: Mix ingredients together; spread on top of fully congealed salad. Serve and enjoy.
(Can substitute cherry jello for grape jello and cherry pie filling for blueberry.)
