- water - 1/3 c
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- egg - 1 item
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- self-rising flour - 4 c
- Crisco - 2 c
- almond flavoring - 2 Tbsp
- Stir water, egg and vinegar together; add liquids to dry for right consistency
How to make cherry cobbler:
Mix flour, Crisco and salt until it feels like cornmeal. Stir water, egg and vinegar together; add liquids to dry for right consistency.Filling:3 cans cherry pie filling1 c. sugar2 Tbsp. almond flavoring Roll out enough crust to cover bottom of pan and come up on sides a little. Fill with half the filling; cover with another layer of crust. Bake 25 minutes at 425°. Remove from oven; add remaining filling and top crust.
