Cherry chocolate cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• eggs - 3 item
• milk - 1/3 c
• butter or margarine - 5 Tbsp
• semi-sweet chocolate pieces - 6 oz
• chocolate cake mix - 1 pkg
• can Reddie Maid Cherry fruit filling - 21 oz

How to make cherry chocolate cake:

Combine cake mix, eggs and cherry fruit filling; mix until well blended. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until it springs back when lightly touched. In a small pan, combine sugar, butter and milk. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, cook one minute. Remove from heat and add chocolate pieces, stir until melted and smooth. Spread over cooled cake.
