Ingredients/Components
- graham cracker crumbs
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar
- pkg - 3 oz
- sour cream
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
- melted butter - 1/4 c
- powdered sugar - 1/3 c
- can cherry pie filling can use 2 - 1 oz
How to make cherry cheesecake:
Filling:1 c. granulated sugar4 eggs, beaten1 tsp. vanilla3 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened Topping:1 pt. sour cream1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling (can use 2) Stir ingredients together for crust and press into bottom of spring-form pan. Set aside. Preheat oven to 350°. Mix sugar, eggs, vanilla and cream cheese (I use a food processor). Pour over crust and bake at 350° for 50 minutes or until center is set. Remove and spread sour cream on and return to oven for 5 minutes. Allow to cool before topping with pie filling. Chill overnight. Pie filling can be changed to any other kind, or sliced fresh fruit and sugar.Recipe categories: Cheesecake, Desserts, < 4 hours.
