Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- baking powder
- shortening - 1/2 c
- white sugar
- almond flavoring - 1/4 tsp
- bottle cherries, cut up and add juice - 1 oz
How to make cherry bread:
Mix all ingredients together and bake 1 hour at 325°. (I use 2 medium size loaf pans, 7 3/8 x 3 5/8 x 2 1/4-inch.)Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Cherries.
