Ingredients/Components
- vanilla ice cream - 1 pt
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- red currant jelly - 3 Tbsp
- Kirsch, heated - 1/2 c
- canned tart cherries, well drained - 2 c
How to make cherries jubilee:
Melt jelly in frypan. Add butter; stir until melted and hot. Add cherries and heat through. Pour Kirsch over cherries. Ignite with long match. Let burn until flame dies. Spoon hot cherries over ice cream and serve. Makes 4 servings.Recipe categories: Desserts, Time to make, < 30 mins.
