Cheesy spaghetti bake
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 1/2
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- water
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- can tomato sauce - 15 oz
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- spaghetti noodles - 8 oz
- ground chuck - 1 lb
- grated parmesan - 2 Tbsp
How to make cheesy spaghetti bake:
Brown chuck with onion; drain. Add tomato sauce, 2 1/4 cups water, spaghetti sauce mix, oregano and salt. Simmer uncovered 20 minutes. Cook spaghetti noodles according to directions, rinse and drain; set aside. In skillet, melt butter (take away from heat); stir in flour until smooth. Add 1/2 cup water and milk; stir until smooth. Put in cheese and place on burner just long enough to melt the cheese and stir until smooth. Layer 1/2 spaghetti, 1/2 tomato sauce, cheese sauce (use all of it), remaining spaghetti and remaining tomato sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes or until bubbly. Can be frozen.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Ground beef.
