Cheesy potatoes
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/3 c
- margarine - 1 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 item
- onion, sliced - 1 item
- to 8 potatoes - 6 item
How to make cheesy potatoes:
Parboil or microwave unpeeled potatoes. Layer in 9 x 13-inch foil-lined pan as follows: potatoes (sliced), onion (sliced), margarine (several slices per layer). Salt and pepper each layer. Pour milk over the layers.Seal with foil. Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes. When almost done, remove foil and top with cheese. Remove from oven when cheese has melted and potatoes are fork-tender.
