Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 item
- oil - 1 item
- Velveeta cheese - 1/4 lb
- chopped green pepper - 2 Tbsp
- green onion slices - 1 Tbsp
- large baking potatoes, baked - 4 item
- crispy cooked bacon slices - 2 item
How to make cheesy potato skins:
Cut potatoes in half lengthwise. Scoop out centers, leaving 1/4-inch shell. Fry shells, a few at a time, for 2 to 3 minutes. Drain. Place on cookie sheet. Top with Velveeta and broil until cheese melts. Top with remaining ingredients. Yields 8 appetizers.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Side dish, Potato.
