Cheesy meat loaf
Ingredients/Components
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- oregano - 1/2 Tbsp
- cans tomato sauce - 2 oz
- cracker crumbs - 3/4 c
- Mozzarella cheese - 2 c
- finely chopped onion - 1/2 c
- ground chuck
- small can mushroom stems and pieces - 1 item
How to make cheesy meat loaf:
Mix meat, onion, egg, crackers and 1/3 of sauce. Mix well. Spread on waxed paper. Shape into flat rectangle. On this, spread cheese and mushrooms. Roll up and seal. Cut in half. Makes 2. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes; drain off fat. Pour rest of sauce on top. Bake for 15 minutes more.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, Beef.
