Cheesy mashed potatoes



  • pkg - 1 oz
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • carton sour cream - 1 oz
  • garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • shredded Cheddar cheese - 4 oz
  • medium potatoes - 8 item

How to make cheesy mashed potatoes:

Cook peeled potatoes until tender. Drain. In large mixing bowl, combine potatoes, cream cheese, sour cream, butter, garlic powder and pepper. With mixer, beat until fluffy. Pour in 2-quart casserole dish. Top with Cheddar cheese. Cover and bake at 350° for 45 minutes; uncover and bake another 15 minutes.
