Cheesy ham casserole
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 12 oz
- oil or butter - 1 Tbsp
- jar sliced mushrooms - 1 oz
- diced red pepper - 1/4 c
- diced green pepper - 1/4 c
- onion, diced - 1 item
- frozen peas - 1/2 c
- baked ham, sliced thick and cubed - 1 c
- butter
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- milk - 1 c
- shredded Provolone cheese - 3/4 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
How to make cheesy ham casserole:
Cheese Sauce:1 Tbsp. butter1 Tbsp. flour1 c. milk3/4 c. shredded Provolone cheese salt and pepper to taste Prepare noodles. Drain and pour into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. In skillet, saute mushrooms, peppers and onion in oil or butter until soft but not browned. Remove from heat. Rinse peas under hot water until slightly thawed. Add vegetables, peas and ham to noodles. Prepare cheese sauce. Add to noodles. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, One Dish meal, Ham.
