Cheesy chicken soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- butter or margarine - 1/4 c
- flour - 1/4 c
- chicken broth - 3 c
- cooked, cubed chicken - 2 c
- chopped potatoes - 2 c
- Cheddar cheese, grated - 2 c
- each chopped: carrots, celery and onion - 1 c
How to make cheesy chicken soup:
Place vegetables in broth; bring to a boil. Cook 15 minutes or until softened. Melt butter over low heat. Stir in flour. Add milk. Simmer until thick, about 5 minutes, stirring often. Add Cheddar cheese, stirring constantly until melted. Add chicken to broth mixture. Add cheese mixture to broth mixture. Stir. Serve.This is really good and satisfying!
