  • flour - 1/4 c
  • margarine - 1/2 c
  • can chicken broth - 1 item
  • grated cheese - 8 oz
  • diced, cooked chicken - 4 c
  • jar pimento - 1 oz
  • large carrots - 2 item
  • herb seasoned stuffing - 8 oz

How to make cheesy chicken casserole:

Precook and slice carrots and set aside. In 3-quart saucepan, melt 1/4 cup of the margarine, stir in the flour. Stir in broth, continue to stir until thick. Lower heat, add cheese. Stir and remove from heat. Stir in chicken, carrots and pimento. Spread in 2-quart casserole dish. Preheat oven to 375°. Melt remaining margarine, add stuffing, spread over chicken mix and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
