Cheesy broccoli
Ingredients/Components
- milk
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- margarine - 3 Tbsp
- paprika - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- mustard - 1/2 tsp
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 oz
- marjoram - 1/8 tsp
- cooked broccoli - 2 lb
How to make cheesy broccoli:
Place broccoli in a 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish. Saute onion in butter. Add flour, stirring until smooth. Cook 1 minute. Gradually add milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick and bubbly. Add Parmesan, salt, mustard, pepper, paprika and marjoram. Stir until cheese melts. Spoon sauce over broccoli. Bake at 375° for 15 minutes. Sprinkle Cheddar cheese over top. Bake an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.Recipe categories: Weeknight, Vegetables, Broccoli.
