  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • baking powder - 1 Tbsp
  • baking soda - 3/4 tsp
  • all-purpose flour - 3 c
  • Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/2 sticks margarine, melted - 1 item

How to make cheesy biscuits:

Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Cut butter into flour until mixture develops texture of coarse meal or sand. Stir cheese into mixture until coated. Pour milk a little at a time until moist and holds together. Do not overmix. Roll biscuits to 1/2-inch thickness. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 8 to 10 minutes at 425°.
