Ingredients/Components

  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • can tomato sauce - 8 oz
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • cottage cheese - 1/2 c
  • can tomato paste - 6 oz
  • Italian seasoning - 1 Tbsp
  • parsley - 1 Tbsp
  • can refrigerator biscuits - 1 item
  • minced onion - 1 tsp
  • shredded Mozzarella - 1 c

How to make cheesy biscuit lasagne:

Brown hamburger and drain. Stir in 1 1/2 cups water, tomato sauce, tomato paste, Italian seasoning and pepper. Cover and simmer 20 minutes.

In a separate bowl, combine cheeses, parsley and onion. Separate biscuits and flatten each into a 4-inch circle. Fold over; press edges together with fork to seal. Pour hot meat mixture into ungreased 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Top with filled biscuits. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes. Makes 5 servings.
