  • sugar - 1 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • pkg - 3 oz
  • milk - 1/4 c
  • all-purpose flour - 2 Tbsp
  • egg yolk - 1 item
  • ground cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • margarine or butter, melted - 1/2 c
  • finely crushed graham crackers
  • finely chopped walnuts optional - 1/4 c

How to make cheesecake supreme:

Crust: Combine crushed crackers, nuts and cinnamon. Stir in margarine or butter. Reserve 1/4 cup of the crumb mixture for topping, if desired. Press remaining onto bottom and about 2 inches up sides of an 8 or 9-inch spring-form pan.

Filling: In a mixer bowl, combine the cream cheese, sugar, flour and vanilla; beat with an electric mixer until fluffy. Add eggs and yolk all at one time; beat at low speed until combined. Stir in milk. Pour into crust lined pan. Sprinkle with crumbs, if desired.

Place filled spring-form pan on a shallow baking sheet. This will catch any butter as it drips from the spring-form. Bake in a 375° oven for 45 to 50 minutes for the 8-inch pan and 35 to 40 minutes for the 9-inch pan, or until the center appears set when shaken. Cool for 15 minutes. Loosen crust from the side of the pan. Cool for 60 additional minutes, then remove sides of pan. Cool completely, then chill at least 4 hours. Serve with fruit topping or plain.
