Cheesecake cookies

Ingredients/Components

• vanilla - 1/2 tsp
• granulated sugar - 1/2 c
• pkg - 1 oz
• packed brown sugar - 1/3 c
• milk - 2 Tbsp
• butter - 5 Tbsp
• egg - 1 item
• all-purpose flour - 1 c
• chopped walnuts - 1/4 c
• lemon juice - 1 2

How to make cheesecake cookies:

Beat butter to soften. Add brown sugar; beat until fluffy. Add flour and walnuts; set aside 1 cup of this mixture. Press remaining mixture into bottom of ungreased 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan. Bake at 350° for 12 minutes.

Meanwhile, in another bowl, beat together the cream cheese and granulated sugar. Add egg, milk, lemon juice and vanilla; mix well. Pour over baked layer; sprinkle reserved butter mixture over top. Bake for 25 minutes at 350°. Cool; cut into 28 bars.
