Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- granulated sugar - 1/2 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- packed brown sugar - 1/3 c
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 5 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- all-purpose flour - 1 c
- chopped walnuts - 1/4 c
- lemon juice - 1 2
How to make cheesecake cookies:
Beat butter to soften. Add brown sugar; beat until fluffy. Add flour and walnuts; set aside 1 cup of this mixture. Press remaining mixture into bottom of ungreased 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan. Bake at 350° for 12 minutes.Meanwhile, in another bowl, beat together the cream cheese and granulated sugar. Add egg, milk, lemon juice and vanilla; mix well. Pour over baked layer; sprinkle reserved butter mixture over top. Bake for 25 minutes at 350°. Cool; cut into 28 bars.
