Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- sour cream
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- packed light brown sugar - 1/3 c
- butter, melted - 1/3 c
- finely chopped nuts - 1 c
- cream cheese, softened
- grated peel of 1 lemon
How to make cheesecake bars:
Cheesecake:2 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened3/4 c. sugar grated peel of 1 lemon3 eggs Topping:1 1/2 c. sour cream3 Tbsp. sugar2 tsp. vanilla Preheat oven to 350°. Grease a 13 x 9-inch pan.Crust: Combine dry ingredients. Mix in butter with fork. Pat in pan and bake for 15 minutes.
Cheesecake: Beat cheese, sugar and lemon peel until smooth. Add eggs, beating well. Pour over baked crust. Bake 25 minutes. Cool at least 5 minutes.
Topping: Combine sour cream, sugar and vanilla. Spread evenly over cake. Bake 5 to 7 minutes. Cool. Refrigerate at least for 30 minutes. Cut into bars. Freezes well.
