  • milk - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1/4 c
  • can tomato sauce - 1/2 oz
  • fine dry bread crumbs - 1/2 c
  • oregano - 1/2 tsp
  • hamburger - 1 lb
  • green pepper - 1/2 c
  • pastry for 1 crust pie
  • Brown meat and drain well

How to make cheeseburger pie:

Place the pastry in a baking dish. Brown meat and drain well. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Place in prepared crust.Topping:8 oz. sharp cheese, grated1/4 c. milk1/2 tsp. dry mustard1 egg1/2 tsp. salt1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce Combine all ingredients. Spread over filling. Bake at 400° for 30 minutes. Serve with sauce made from 1/2 can of tomato sauce and equal amount of chili sauce. Makes 1 pie.
