Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 2 oz
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- egg, separated - 1 item
- crescent rolls - 2 pkg
How to make cheese squares:
Spread 1 package crescent rolls in bottom of greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Combine cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk and vanilla. Beat well. Pour over rolls in pan. Spread the other package of crescent rolls on top of cheese mixture. Beat egg white until frothy. Spread on top of rolls. Sprinkle nuts and 1/4 cup sugar on top. Cut into squares after baking.
