Ingredients/Components
- jar chopped pimientos - 1 oz
- carton pimiento cheese - 1 oz
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chili powder - 2 Tbsp
- cayenne pepper - 2 Tbsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- 8 oz - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- garlic powder - 1/4 1/2
- paprika - 2 Tbsp
How to make cheese spread:
Drain the pimientos and chop finely (or mash them with the back of a fork). Combine the 3 cheeses in a large mixing bowl and mix well. Add the pimientos, pecans, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Mix well and shape into 2 balls. Sprinkle the chili powder, paprika and cayenne pepper on waxed paper or plastic wrap. Roll each ball in the spices until completely covered and refrigerate or freeze.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Cheese, Spreads.
