Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 1/4 c
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- slices American cheese - 6 item
How to make cheese sauce:
Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in flour, but do not brown. Add milk, cheese, salt and pepper. Cook on low heat, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens. Pour over broccoli, potatoes or other vegetables. Grate Cheddar cheese on top and heat until melted. Add a little garlic powder and serve over noodles.Recipe categories: Sauces, Dips, Savory sauces.
